BBICO involved in charitable support supplying musical instruments to London school

The British Band Instrument Company is proud to have been involved in facilitating the supply of musical instruments to local, London-based George Green’s School. Following a successful bid for resources from the Expressive Arts department, funding for the instruments was kindly provided by George Green’s Trust and The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights. BBICO were able to help the school to get the most out of that funding and supply a broad selection of instruments that have allowed the school to further develop its ability to promote and teach music to its students.

Shaun Lloyd, Head of music commented, “The instruments and equipment supplied by BBICO with funds from the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights have been an invaluable resource for the music department here at George Green’s School. Students have a fantastic array of new equipment which has allowed them greater freedom to showcase their talent and express themselves through music. It has given all students equal musical opportunities to play an instrument of their choice and as a result, the music department is a thriving hub of creativity and culture within the school. We are very grateful to the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights and BBICO for providing such a brilliant resource for our students.”

BBICO are pleased to be supporting the students of George Green’s School in developing their musical careers. Alex from BBICO was fortunate enough to visit the school and see some of the positive effects the instruments are having on the school and its students.
